Opportunity knocks (maybe) - for me!

I have an opportunity to get 4th generation interior for my car. The donor is a 97 Camaro that appears to have been well cared for…. The interior is dirty, but nice… It was a Z28. It has been in the elements for about 4 months…so the inside is kind of dirty... The interior is in outstanding condition. The yard wants $500.00. I would get the dash, electrical (s), console, and front and rear seats. Coloring is gray which matches the paint of my "Heartbeat of America" car. My current interior is red. If I made this transition, I would keep the carpet and door panels the same color and change everything else. I think that would look good, but would like a few opinions. I can also get the door panels. I need to know if you think:

1. The cost is decent? An Albuquerque person response in the area would be nice… I am not familiar with how pricing with the junk yards work here!
2. Subjectively do you think the color combination will work? Everyone is invited here..

Thanks

Sounds like a really good deal on the price. Though I suppose condition would truely determine that.

As for the matching question, not sure I suppose I'd have to see pictures first.

Price does sound good, but I don't think it'll look good.

The inside of the car is red... It is as close as I could get it to a "Heartbeat of America" commercial that I saw in Japan in 1988. I am going back over tomorrow and I will get everything I can from the interior of the car! My intent is to change the inside of the car to gray. It will then match the body and the wheels.

Another question and yes I know this is the wrong place but., what type of problems can I expect with dash electrical stuff?

When my dad was looking for a vette we looked at a black 91 with black seats and bright red carpet. I thought it was very sweet looking.
