Nice cars, But I wonder.... How many of these cars came from the Van Nuys (sp) plant durning the 80's. I know my car came from this plant & had the crappy 80's GM paint job, complete with peeling faded, paint that was so typical in that era.
It was completly painted in 93 after a major accident but after nearly 10 years it looks like crap again (no peeling tho)

ok...imagestation seems to be working now.
Back to the topic. I have my original paint and seems to be fine for a ten year old car. I saw an 82 above and I think it looks great.
Girls love my paint; they touch it and do other stuff to it!!!!

You all might be surprised what that little engine with a turbo will do. Not saying his is this way, just never under estimate a turbo car. Depsite how small the engine.

Original, as far as I know. Done at the Van Nuys, Ca. plant, according to the VIN,
VAN : ASSEMBLY PLANT, VAN NUYS, CA

Markolc - your car is not Flame Red Metallic. It's Dark Red Metallic. Pontiac used the Flame Red. thought you might want to know.
Here's mine: Van Nuys built, all original, no touch ups.

All of the cars I have seen here are nice, although I could have done w/out seeing the chicks a** hanging out!! That is not something I enjoy, being female myself , and that my 14 year old son reads along w/ me at times on this site , just does not please me. Yea he is going to be interested but lets not push it!!!

Here's mine at almost 150K miles.

The only parts that are not the original paint are the hood and passenger side fender. The top has the common GM paint peel defect. or maybe it just from driving too fast
