Where would u mount this ProForm Shift light? pic inside

I just ordered it and i should get it tomorrow. Im trying to figure out where should i put it, It's obvious it should be mounted in front of me so my eyes dont stay out of the road but i dont want to be blinded. I was thinking on the left corner by the vent, What do u suggest? Anyone have this? Any info on it?
BTW: lets keep it clean and no "U can stick it up ur a$$" statements thanx

Hopefully you wouldn't shift the same as you would at the track so it shouldn't go off all the time, mine doesn't. sorry I dont' have a pic right now, i'm not on my computer, I put my tach and lite on the A-pillar.
I've got the same light, I mounted it on the dash next to the driver side speaker. I cleaned my dash real good and used double sided tape to mount it so I wouldn't have to drill any holes. It's been on my dash for about 8 months and it hasn't come off yet. The good thing about mounting it there is I could run the wires between the dash and door trim. Meaning I didn't have to drill a hole in the dash for the wires. That also made it easy to run the ingition wire throught the firewall, I fed it through the same hole the hood release goes through. The three of four inches of wires that you can seen on my dash I covered with black wire loom.

hmmm great ideas, i was also thinking about mounting it behind driver side Air/heat vent so its sort of invisible but taking the vent in and out would be PITA. Forgot to mention that i also just got the Dual Pods 2 1/16 and for the top im putting an Air/fuel gauge(i know its not really useful) but i was thinking if there is a way for me to install the Shift light on the bottom pillar withough making any holes. Nice pics BTW.
It should be coming today. How did u guys mount ur A-pillar id really prefer not to make any holes so can i use Double tape?? Does it come with Double tape? Im sure i gotta rup a little alcohol so it sticks well. Any advice? thanx again

I had to have holes drilled into the A Pillar and my brother used to clear drying adhesive stuff from his work to give it extra strength.
hmmm, Anyone mount their Dual pod with Double side tape? I just got it about an hour ago and looks good but no tape included and came with 4 plastic screws, Id really hate to make any holes. Oh well guess ill try it tomorrow.
i got the dual pod as well and you have to drill holes to make a clean way to run your wires to the gauges.
There is five of them if you are using electrical gauges.
The pod comes with little plastic mounting plugs that give a real clean look.

I LIKE mine :)
here is where I put mine (not proform) Harlan brand...
I think it would be kind cool having the light tilt up towards you from somewhere under the dash, like, if you had it near where the Diagnostic Computer plugs in at or somthing in relation to that. That way its out of the way and your not messing anything up to bad, and if you wanna take it off later, you won't have any holes. Just an 'Idea', but, that me
