Cool pic i just took

We were at the carwash and i had teh camera and tripod with me a couple minutes ago, so i took some pics. Most of them came out dark, until i realized i still had the flash on. which does nothing but fool the light meter from 25 feet away. I'm definately liking this digital camera thing...

PS, the pic shows the cars in order according to timeslips, from left to right of course

A: to make your vehicle look as ridiculous as possible in a photo

another way to achieve that: have 1 headlight up in a 'bird/TA during a day shot

hmmm

I guess to each his own, I enjoy seeing the aesthetics of a car, the bodyline, etc.

Just struck me weird as all three of these cars appear to be ready to take off for flight.

I have to agree it is stupid to take pictures of a car with all its doors open. What's the point ? It doesnt look like the car would with the doors closed at ALL!

WOW you people really amaze me sometimes... go do a search on my user name, you'll come with about 300 normal pics of my car. Sorry for trying to do something different with it The closemindedness fo this site is really becoming evident lately. It's pretty bad when we all have to take one kind of picture or it's crap. Sorry i'm not conforming to everyone elses tastes here.....

First of all, you need to calm down...

I simply asked why you did it that way. I didnt know it was for looks, I thought it was for some specific purpose.

In my last post, I joked about it, I didnt put it down.

If you cant take criticism from other users, maybe you shouldnt post then. You seem real sensitive. Not everyone is going to have the same taste as you. Thats not closemindedness, thats simply personal taste. Learn to live with it.

I think it looks aight with the doors and **** open, if your actually there, lets ya see motor and interior and stuff, but pictures, it dont really matter, i mean, who cares, personal tastes or not, its a stupid pic, who cares if he put only his door in it ?

PS, the pic shows the cars in order according to timeslips, from left to right of course
does that mean yours is the fastest or the slowest?

But people can also voice their opinion in a tactful manner. If they think it is a stupid pic, all they need to say is that they don't care for it. They don't have to come off as all knowing photographers that have final say on all pictures. By all means, people should be able to voice their opinions but they could have some taste in doing it.

true....

You have a good point there.

I was more or less referring to the "increasingly closemindedness" of these boards remark. Generalizations are almost as bad as tactless remarks.

Like I said previously, to each his own.

my comments were not directed at you, although as i read it again i can see where you might have seen it that way. i was more or less talking to those who felt the need to use words such as "stupid" or "rediculous". Find one post anywhere on this site where i have been anywhere close to ignorant when saying i didn't like something, it's never happened. I try to show respect as much as possible to everyone here, yet some people feel no need to do the same.

Am i sensitive? Absolutely not, i have no problem with contructive critisism, was i over-reacting? I dont think so at all. To those who have actually taken the time to type something with any kind of valid point in it, thanks. To the others, i have nothing to say except

Eric
