Vinyl lettering from the windshield of your car? The guy I bought the car from over the winter had a slogan on the windshield that I wish to be taken off.

I tried with a razor blade, but it only chipped in tiny pieces. Any recommendations?

Use a blow dryer or a hot light to warm up the adhesive, then scrape it off with the razor...

Spray a lot of windex on it so it's totally soaked, and then use the straight razor. Just make sure to keep using the windex or you'll end up scraping your windshield.
