personally,

I think white lettering looks good on G-bodies, like Montes, 442's and such.

On thirdgens however, I like non white lettered tires.

I like them without the lettering. Just my .02 cents.

I'm not a fan of the raised whites. Popapork had them on his RS for about a year, then recently switched to plain black tires. I like it alot better now

I am iffy. I liked the raised whites made the 60 series rubber not look soo big. But they got dirty quick. I like the all black look when the car is washed and all done up, but when they tire wet is gone, they look like monster truck tires. Here are some pics so you can see whut I am talkin about.

I think I have to agree with Karp on this one. I have the raised white letters on mine, but they are 15". The rears are also pretty tall so I think it breaks them up a little bit. I prefer the black on a low profile tire.

I will agree with that, white letters on the 15's but not on the 16's--good luck finding very many 245/50's with white letters anyway.
Attached is a pic of my 82 back when I was running 245/60R15's

This topic has came up before, and I'll give the same answer. I like it on 15" wheels like mine, and the color of the car really makes a difference as well. On my 2 tone grey/silver with 15"s wheels it looks much better with the letters, but thats just what I think. And since its my car, what I think about how it looks is all that really matters I don't have any really recent pics otherwise I'd show a before/after.

well I have a 92 RS with 15 inch RS wheels and white letters the car is black, and they look bad....
I had just never saw the 16's with white letters.... just wondering what it'll look like...
i think i'm going to go with black when I get my tires cuz it would look almost too cluttered if i could get them at all, does that make sense?

anyway, thanks for the input
