What Color Should I paint my SE?

I don't know what my plans are for this car but I do know that the paint needs to be redone.

Do you have any suggestions as to what color. I have a red bird already and I don't want black. The interior is tan.

...photoshoppers have fun if you want to.

Thanks for all input.

Well since you allready have a Redbird (which would have been my first choice) Go with a Dark Blue

i have an 84 s/e that is the exact same color as yours. I'm thinking about repainting and i think im going to keep it the same color. I kind of like it that color.

Or, you could go with this RARE original color. It would really match your interior!

I'd go dark Purple(like on early 90's Cavaliers). Has to be one of the coolest colors for a car.

If you have a beige interior you should get dark green...liek the old vettes with dark green with saddle interior...that looks awesome!

If you don't care about being original or changing colors, I'd go with 'electron blue' I think it's called. On the new vettes I think, stared on the 405HP Z06, but I think you can get it on the normal 'vettes now too. I think it's also the color of the Civic Si's, so shoot me, I still like the color

Since black is out and you have a beige interior, I think hunter green would look cool. I don't think silver would look good with a beige interior.

Thanks for the input everyone.

I was considering a dark green. I saw a 67 Firebird with a beautiful dark metalic green paint with a tan interior. Awsome. I am also a huge fan of the navy blue metallic. I have seen and actually sat in a Z06 electron blue corvette. I was in love with it. Oh the car was great too!

Im very partial to navy blue and silver. I thought of painting the car silver too. I was looking for a new Grand Am (finally bought one) and my favorites were white and silver. I ended up with a white one.

So many choices!!

Keep sending me your thoughts. I want my car to be unique.

thanks again!

That is a extreamly awesome looking color. You can get any 2002 Vette with that color. I plan on painting my next project car a 77 sting ray vette that color with silver or white ghost flames. Also a ls1 and t56 are goin in the vette. damn cars they cost to much money.

This is my strong opinion and you don't have to like it I guess. But I don't want to change the front end on the 84 for any reason.

To me the front end is what makes the early birds unique. DONT get me wrong I love the new front ends say on the GTA and Trans Am especially the front ends on the 91-92.

I don't want to have a firebird that everyone else has. There arent many of these birds still on the road with this style nose and rear.

Plus that is why I bought my 84's because of the front and rear bumpers.

Just my rant.
