Installing new GFX emblems
Installing new GFX emblems
Guys-
I'm gonna remove my old "IROC-Z" GFX badges from the rocker panels and rear bumper. They are old, and are starting to slowly come off, so it's time to install new ones...
My question is... do these things self stick? Or am I gonna need to buy some kind of glue or paste to brush onto them so they hold in the grooves? Anyone know?
It looks like an easy 5 minute job, anything I should know prior to doing this?
Thanks

The girl I was gonna visit in Davison actually just moved to VA... so that kinda shot that down...
I might still go out to MI though, cuz I'd really like to see Detroit and GM etc... so if I come out, I'll shoot you a message.

Back to the subject, the original rocker panel emblems have two studs holding them to the rocker panel. These just push into retainers in the rocker panel, you can pry 'em right out. The GM replacement emblems do not have the studs, they have 2 faced tape on them. I removed the retainers first.
The rear bumper emblem has adhesive only, both on the original & the replacement.
