ok theres this firebird around where i live,and i think its a V6,atleast by the way it sounds.but the thing is,it looks like a late 80's T/A.and it has those black spoked rims.i dont know anything about the car.ive only seen it a few times and havent gotten up close to it.so my question is....did V6 birds ever come with the T/A GFX,or is this something that kid coulda done himself?

 

I believe Firebird SE's came with TA GFX, but they do not have TA tailights. Im not sure about the engines, im willing to bet SE's had v6's.

Also, the wheels.... well, lots of people buy crosslaced wheels

 

Yep... I have one its an Firebird SSA. But on mine I changed out the tail light, wing and rims. Hood some day....

 

Yes ...he could done that ..you can make any firebird look like a T/A or a formula or what you want ...all 82-92 parts are interchangeable ..maybe he added T/A bumpers and taillights
(he had to change the Wiring Harness)and rims ...thats one of the reason i love Thirdgens ..are timeless ..a 82 could look exactly like a 92 or viceversa

 

OR it could be a TTA .......or probably not

 

I have also seen a V6 firebird with the lower T/A ground effects,the only things it didn't have were the vents on the hood, and fenders.
Around here there is a Mustang with the 5.0 badge on it but it souns like a 6cyl. or 4 cyl. LoL
