nose repair??

nose repair??

hey guys a friend of mine gave me a nose for my z28 it needs to be sanded and painted but there are two rips in it can they be repaired or is the nose junk??

If you use fiberglass body filler, it's possible to repair the tears so long as they're not too severe. However, it can sometimes be a pain in the a$$. If he's giving it to you or selling it to you for a cheap price, I say give it a shot. Sand off all the original paint first, and then buy some Bondo fiberglass filler and see if that helps.

Be careful what you use to fill it. Fiberglass will crack if hit at all, and so will bondo. You need something withy a flex agent in it.
