Replacing front grilles on an 83 T/A...
The T/A is missing the front grilles right now, and I'm not a huge fan of the way the slotted grilles look anyway, so I've come up with 2 ideas...
1. If I can find honeycomb type mesh (like on the back of the cowl) get it cut to the shape and put it in there... but only if the holes in it are small like on the cowl, I'm not putting damn chicken wire on my car...
2. Get 2 pieces of sheet metal, gloss black, and cut them to fit the shape...
What's everyone's opinion on those two? Anyone maybe even have pictures of an 82-84 T/A w/out GFX and one of those 2 things on it??

My opinion - get some of the flat T/A grill inserts from an '84. They take the place of the slotted ones - the '83 Daytona Pace Cars were the first to use these. Check my site for pics of them.

One of my grill inserts is busted on my '83 TA...anyone know how much the '83 vents cost compared with the '84 covers? Thanks!!
