Camaro Tail Lenses Just Look Alittle Out Of Date!
No offense to anyone. The tailights on my Camaro are starting to look alittle played out to me. I was wondering if anyone has ever unglued there amber lenses off of the lense panel, and replaced them with clear lenses just like the reverse lenses then put an amber bulb behind the clear lense. So that you would have your red brake light, then 1 clear lense, then another clear lense beside that one. If anyone has ever done this, please post your pics if you have them. Just curious! Thanks!

I believe that someone used some kind of model paint to make the amber lense a red one. It looked pretty good to me! I agree with you, it doesn look dated!!

I don't like new car taillights and think they are stupid looking, so I disagree.
(I think pretty much same about new cars overall in general) The IROC-Z 1's are cool. I do like the earlier Z28 1's too that my RS has but not as much. Put blackouts on if you don't like them.

If you polish them it will help bring them back to life. I have seen the ones with the painted amber lens, they look cool but I like the contrast the amber gives. Take about 30-45min on each on polishing it and I gurantee you will like them again.

the problem i have with the stock ones is that the amber lense clashes really badly with the hugger orange paint, if the server is up and my sigpic actually works you can see what i mean...
Eric
EDIT: ok so you can't really see it in the pic, trust me it doesn't look good...
