hey...my dad had a berlinetta interior package (seats) on his 85 SC...does this look like a berl. interior?? i ran the RPO codes, and it came up as a "custom" seat color. oh yea sorry for the looks of the interior, im kinda ripping it apart so i can totally clean it, but you can still see the pass. seat and a door panel.

 

Looks like it to me.... the Custom cloth interior was an option on SC's and standard on the Berlie. I think it was an option on the Z too

 

what year is that car?.....and btw...my 84 z had that custom inteior...but it was medium dark gray

No. No way no how. Those seats came in the Z28 too. The berl had the goofy digital dash with the swivel radio. All of them.

nope your wrong again only in 1984 did the berlinetta have the digital dash not all year berlinetta ..
but seats and door panels i guess could be an option for the z....
..(dont ask me why you would want them though i cant stand it)

i know i dont have the complete berlinetta interior because i dnt have the dash and whatnot...i was just talking about the seats and door panels...my bad

 

That is the custom cloth interior for 1984. My 84 sc has that upholstery.

However, my seats have seen better days. Does anyone know if this fabric is still made?

Oh yeah, the custom interior was standard in the Berlinetta, and optional in both the Sport Coupe and Z28.

In 1984 the Berlinetta received the digital dash, and kept it until it was canceled midway through the 1986 model year. In 1982 and 1983, the Berlinetta had the analog gauges just like the Sport Coupe and Z28.

I just wanted to try and clear some things up

 

i think there is re upholstery kits..but it just might come in the tan color, not with the brown stripes...i really like my interior...just the way it accents the black when you look at the whole car with the t tops off makes the car look so much better IMO.

 

crud, mine has the gray seats...... car was originally silver, came with the gray seats. If i can't find upholstery in this pattern, i'l prolly upgrade to some 4thgen t/z seats. the camaro seats look "cheap" to me
