Help needed installing B&M Megashifter...

ARGgggGG, need some help here with this complicated thing. How do I wire up the Nuetral Lockout Switch and Backup Light Switch?? I'm no Electrical Guru and in turn, the directions make little to know sense to me, and the wiring Diagram makes even less.... if someone can show me how to do this, I'd really appreciate it.... *Sigh* its bad enough I gotta mutilate my console AND drill holes Hopefully this will be worth it.... stupid hurst Dual Gate being on National Back Order

I read a little bit farther into the directions and it explained it a bit better. HOWEVER, now after that entire process.... I cannot start my car What the hell is causeing this? I haven't wired the switches yet, but even with the wiring harness hooked to the old shifter (Pushed aside) I STILL can't start the vehicle... I dunno, I'm begining to HATE this damn shifter....

I just wired up my back up lights and left the Neutral safety switch go.I have an auto so it's not really a big concern.

should have got a Hurst shifter. No drilling and just bolts to where the stock shifter goes

Hurst automatic shifters are junk.......their manual shifters are the best.

I wanted the Hurst Dual Gate 2, but, alas, NATIONAL BACKORDER. The said it may be weeks, it may be months. So, that was out of the question.

Didn't the B&M instruction book mention wire colors and pinouts for the electrical hookups? I did mine a few years ago with no problems, but I've done electronic work, so it might've made more sense? Anyway, call B&M's tech support on it! Their phone # must be on their website http://www.bmracing.com

I had to pull my B&M shifter out of my wrecked Camaro to put it into my current one. I reinstalled it without instructions and the only problem I had was that I had to make a jumper wire for the wiring harness that hooked up to the original shifter. I think it was for the neutral safety switch.
