Ever dye entire seat upholstery?

Greetings, ive been kicking the idea around of dying some upholstery instead of looking for good black interior pieces. Good seats are getting harder and harder to find and while my upholstery is still in good shape, the color leaves something to be desired.

Has anyone here ever done a complete dye on seat upholstery? Do you have any trouble with color bleeding or fade? Which products have you had good sucess with? Thanks for your help.

If you want to dye the seats I would take the fabric off and take it up to a drycleaner and have them dye it black, any of the rattle can paint DO NOT USE if you want it to look halfway decent. Just my little run in, now on the plastic panels you can paint it, but I would rather get new ones, since i painted mine black and now 3months later you can see scratches on them and the original tan came out Godd luck.....:lala:

Stay away from the spray can. I painted my seats from gray to black but they faded back to gray.
