OEM 4th Gen Spoilers
I just bought a 4th gen spoiler from a TA on ebay, and have a few questions about installing it. I have heard that it has to be cut in half and shortened because it is too wide to fit properly on 3rd gens without hanging over the sides. Have any of you guys have to cut it?
I'm asking this because it's a very wide piece and very expensive to ship. If I have to cut it anyway, I'd rather let the seller cut it because it would save a lot on shipping.
Are there any other potential pitfalls/problems I should watch out for when installing this thing? Any advice would, as always, be greatly appreciated.

I think if the spoiler is from an actual 4th gen you may need to cut it in half not real sure but their many guys that have done it. Now if its teh reproduction made specifically for thirdgens I think you free and clear and its a direct bolt one. If I were me and not sure I would have the seller measure it and you measure ur and see if it would fit.

Ya, like he said, bolt it on.
The center pillars won't touch the deck lid but some ingenuity can fix that.
