I just finshed my repair work and i am happy. Okay it was a MAJOR repair but it was the first I did w/o a man!
I replaced the center console. It was coming apart and had only two screws in the front and non in the back.

But it was an adventure. I had to figure out how to put the bit on the drill and it wouldn't fit. finally figure out what i was doing wrong. I felt like afterwards roaring..

I have had some success using a product
called dura-mix 4040 (available at paint jobbers)

It is a fast setting epoxy (1 minute or less )
Seems to work well with modern thermo plastics

COngrats! Wait'll you're elbow-deep in grease and wondering to yourself why you didn't just pay your mechanic-friend to change the rotors and pack that damn grease for you...grumble....

My gf likes to be IN my car, but not under the hood....

*PS* - Yes, I'm a bit of a photographer, but getting a girl to sit on a car for a shot is wayyyy to difficult these days...

I actually have a wife that has been in the barn helping with the project car almost every night. She even did most of the wrenching to get the old motor out, and is now working on stripping the engine bay. That must be the reason I have kept her around for the last 15 years, or maybe she finnally realized that if she wanted to see me at all she might as well come out and help
