I'm going through the same thing with my 82 TA.

Well, Orange and Black are good colors, but why not blend them in? Black with Orange Stripes or Orange with Black Stripes?
But if you were looking into 1 Solid color, I would have to go with Black since I like that color.

Another good choice would be a Yellow. My Dad's friend got her 89 Formula 350 colored Yellow from being Black. I liked the car Black, don't get me wrong, but when she drove that car around after the Paint Job, it was an eye turner.

wow, i have to say, first orange thirdgen i've seen ever! AWESOME. Yellow is overdone here, ricers here like yellow, and theres a sweet camaro and a nice T/A around here that are both yellow. i like the idea of black because it'll keep cost down from door jamb painting, etc. orange stripes are cool, but what kind of stripes should i get? i don't really like racing stripes, maybe some pinstriping though. i think i'm going to look into a hood bird in orange, and i'm getting an underbody neon kit, orange. Int. lights are orange so i think it will be cool. iF i had the $$$ i'd get a ram air hood, paint the car black, and get 4th gen 30th anniversary decals, ohhhhh *** would that be sweet. But cash is too tight for a ram air hood cause i'm 16 and i go through more jobs than a hooker on half-off night. but anyways, i have to go in search of an orange hood bird now, good luck every one, i'll check back later

Any cars I've had have always been black , from Ford Capris to Nissan Silvia's (200sx's in the US) and Toyota MR2's , so you could say that I'm a bit biased towards that colour - my TransAm is red, though, for a change. I think orange looks good , it looks great on that Camaro posted above , but basically whatever colour you choose , whether it's orange or black, you really can't go wrong - it's gonna look great whatever - a win-win situation ! That's my view anyways !!

A Black car is like a woman, beatiful but is high maintanice. My Berlinetta is black and i wash it like twice a week to keep it nice and clean. Gotta be careful what u use to wash it or wax it because swirll marks and scratches are very noticable. Nothing shines like a waxed black car, get black.

well, i've decided black, but on a different hood decal, i'll post it tomarrow. (goes on the lil scoop and hugs the scoops curves, you know, the kitt hood) sure black is high maintenance, but i've decided, if it has wheels or ***** it's gonna cost you time and $$
