Extreme wheels?

Will Chevy S10 Extreme wheels(16 x 8) fit my car without any spacers or modifications? I think I saw them on an Iroc somewhere.

best thing to do is go to your nearest rim and tire shop and ask them...theyll more then likely tell you right off, and iff not..look and see how close yours and the extremes are(visually)..but id leave your stock rims on your car..those extreme rims arent that much better imo..but good luck in your findings

Rim shop I went to basically tried to convince me that if they didn't have the rims, then they couldn't be mounted. I was thinking about extreme rims for a while myself before I went with the C5's . Go to www.skulte.com . This is where I got my spacers. His sight claims that he can make spacers for just about anything. I am inclined to believe him.

Ummm..the first thing I did was a search, but unforunately it provided only one opinion and then went off on a tangent on something else like they often do.

One thing I hate is when somebody gets arrogant about questions they think have already been answered. Unfortunately, I can't be on here all the time, so occasionally I might miss a thread or two

If you werent being snotty, please ignore the above rant..it was not intended for you.

Anyway...The bottom line is I like the Xtreme wheels but if they involve any mods(especially 300.00 spacers) its not worth it. I'm just tired of the Formula wheels and want a cheap direct replacement.

Those are the Xtreme wheels. I was gonna take Sabrina's and put them on my car..but I never got the chance.

And I think its GMCs equivalent to he S10 (the Jimmy I think it is????) that has the EXACT same rims as the 16" 91-92 rims....though the S10s at some point may have had them too...im not too sure about that one.

to put it simply, its like your trying to increase by post count by being lazy and telling people to search................

Aparently the general conception on this board is that when you ask a question or make a statment, you are talking to everyone and even if they dont have any usefull information they will add their .02

Look what happened to Revlimit

But I agree, if the same questions are asked alot, the regulars can become a little peeved and just say 'click search'. At least it wasnt like a direct personal flame or anything like I usually get.

Just to add some usefull information, when I slapped my 17" budniks from my 97 s10 onto my RS the spacing on the rear was off and the rim was sticking out about 2-4 cm outside of the wheelwell. So its not a direct fit. Sorry.

he didnt specify anyone to answer his question.. so if your tired of seeing this(that part which i dont understand) then why didnt you calmly say something other then what you said.....

all mult68 said was," search for it" and he copped an attitude about it ...
ppl have said that to me before, so i would do what they,b/c they knew more then i do... if the poor kid is on here asking if xtreme rims fit then thats his problem ... and obviously he(tpiterror) didnt search like he said he did or he didnt enter something correctly and he got no answer.

and your a moderater.. ? i have never seen a moderator act so immature......

bash me if you want...but it will do you no good bro....

have a nice day

Dude, are you for real?

Yes I did do the search..and if you look at those links you'll see that they are repititive, at times get off the topic, and have conflicting opinions..so excuse the hell out of me for posing the question again in hopes of getting a concise answer.

Wow you typed a word into a search engine..you showed me!

and one more thing...as an admin..i would think that you would want people to use the features of the site. To me its like having people always ask what a word means...just open up a damn dictionary and find it yourself.

The 2WD s-10s have the same offset and bolt pattern as the thirdgens. The s10s used left over 91-92 Z28 FRONT wheels.

The 4wd s-10s have a much different offset, more similar to the 4th gen offset.

Taken from one of those threads....

A friend of mine bought a set of s10 extreme rims for his red 88 TA, they bolted right up, they look awaesome, they fill out the fender wells perfectly, They look so good, im thinkin about putting them on my 86 z28, but i might put ZR1 rims on it instead, it depends on what i can find... anyways just my two cents...

Taken from same thread....

A different thread....from someone who actually put them on......
the extreme wheeel sare a direct bolt on. the only thing you may have to do is take a dremel tool to the inside hub of the new wheel, I put these wheels on my silver 91z28 a while back. they lok killer on them. check them out at this website

This arguement is almost as lame as the "who's stronger Superman or the Hulk" debate?

Who are you to police the guidlines of this board? If my question disurbs you so much, don't reply.

Now...it took me MUCH longer to go...find those threads myself...and paste all the info here than it did to say "Seach Button Buddy " And if i would have just said "Yes They Fit" then why the hell would he want to believe me....he would want the facts...so then thats even more time.

Dear ***...yes I read all that..one guy said I might need spacers...one guy said I might need a dremel...one guy said they bolt right on....thats my point wise guy. Maybe I was just posing the question again..yes again...to get more updated information.

Your arguement is getting weak.

The guy who said you MAY need a dremel actually put them on his car.....are they just going to progressively start to NOT fit or something?

Ummm no..but if one guy says to take a dremel to a wheel I just spent a ton of dough on and another says I dont need to, I'm going to be a little hesitant.

This is lame.

Ok i COMPLETELY understand that comment...BUT.....had you searched...you could have said in your post something like "Will I have to dremel Xtreme wheels to get them to fit" And it SEEMS as if this guy with the dremel was the only one who actually had first hand knowledge about putting them on...and he specially said you MAY need to.....so I would have contacted him before even bothering to post. All youre doing is having more people saying "yeah they may fit" "yeah those rims are cool" "arent they the same wheels the 91-92 Camaros have" "what do they look like" "how much are they" "where can I buy them" yadda yadda.

Holy crap! Yes...I could've been more specific with my question...but you know what?..I didn't put that much time and though into it...so sue me. Next time i'll ask "So if the new moon is in its 3rd phase during the summer solstice, will am xtreme wheel fit my Formula if I use a dremel tool at 3400 rpm with a 400 grit bit?"

Now you've proven that you lack the sophistication as well as the intelligence to sustain a "so called" arguement.

wow, do you have no empathy whatsoever? that retarded kid was probably the happiest person on this planet at the moment that picture was taken, and you guys PS' it up and laughing at it. Now don't get me wrong, i have a pretty twisted and sick sense of humor, but theres a clear line drawn out here between "thats hilarious" and "thats wrong." and i actually laughed at it at first too. Then i thought about it. I'm going to borrow a line here from the best movie ever made, Gone in 60 seconds, where sphinx speaks and says "they say poor them, I say poor us." think about it man. That little kid will never live a full and happy life. We will. At least show some respect.

I agree, it does get old. Which is faster:

1.) Post a new thread asking a question and wait for someone to reply. They reply with "Do a search" so you wait for another reply. This reply is someone arguing with him for telling you to search and your question doesn't get answered for a few hours or days.

-or-

2.) Do a search, read the posts, find your info in under 15 minutes- no harm done.

Now I know you searched TPITerror and didn't find what you needed so I'm not referring to you, just making a point. If you stick around the boards for a while, you'll see that it does get old when people ask the same few questions every 2 or 3 days.
