Will an 88 GTA Wrap Around Spoiler fit on my 83 TA?

Will an 88 GTA wrap around spoiler fit on my 83 Trans Am? I'm pretty sure it will, just want to make sure. If anyone knows, please post! Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it will as well. I've even seen one on a camaro. You shouldn't have a problem.

Yes it will fit but.....

It would be alot easier if you got the whole entire hatch off of a GTA or Formula.
There are 3 clips along each side of the rear window frame that the spoiler clips into. plus the mounting holes are different from a stock 83 rear spoiler.

Ahhhhh. I did not realize that. Thank you for that info. I'm going to try to look to a GTA rear hatch at a junkyard now. Thanks!

The only way that the wrap around spoiler will fit an 82 thru 85 Firebird or 82 thru 92 Camaro is if you use the COMPLETE decklid from a Firebird originally equipped with said spoiler.

There are some metal clips that are part of the decklid that you CANNOT buy at any dealer.

Or, You could try to talk to some body shops and see if there's a way to kinda glue the side on or something like that. BUt thats jsut a thought!

I am putting that spoiler onto my car.
We are swapping hatches. My friends girlfriend likes the 91-92 Hi-rise that I have.
