Wanted: X-RAY Vision images of Camaro's

I am looking for pictures of XRAY views of Camaro.. I'm looking for eventually ALL years.. An example of what i'm looking for would be the Xray view of the 1993 Camaro as shown on the back of one it it's brochure posters.

http://www.autotrend.com/pic/1146.jpg

Does anyone happen to have this picture above in a larger scan? I'm looking for pics where the illistration is at LEAST 400pixels otherwise you really cannot see the picture.

Does anyone here have any of these views (1967-2002)?

Thanks for your time

The pictures you are reffering too are called cut a way drawings. Do a google search on an artist called David Kimble . He is the one that draws the cut aways that you usually see around. In many opinions he is the best. However I have never seen a 3rd gen cutaway. Just the one that you have of the 4th gen. If you come up with one let me know, I have started to collect cutaway prints like you have there. David Kimble actually drew that one.

This is the first site that comes up in the search:

http://www.christophers.net/kimble.htm

You can see many examples of his work there such as a nice Z06 that he did.

Good Luck!
Jay

You can possibly make your own if you want to take the time...

Take a camaro, and take a picture of it. take all the piecees off you want out of the picture, then take another picture, combine the 2 and you will ahve what you are looking for...

John

I am not trying to be smart, i will show you what I mean in a second.

This is probably not like what your looking for, (its a firebird) but it gives you an idea... In order to do it right you would want to remove the hood instead of just open it...

As for other pix like the one you posted, that happens to be the only one I have ever seen (the 93).

I can see it now.. Ricers putting in Engine Photographs. Covering their 4-cylinders with a picture of a viper V10 or heck, Lamborghini V12 :-)
