Shift Light Installation-------PICS

Question is will screws be able to hold the shift light up? The arrow shows where I would like to mount it? Will 2 screws going up into the AC vent tubes hold up the shift light(its lite)?
Thanks

i imagine so, my buddy has a friggin tach the size of the titanic mounted in the same basic location(his is an 81 camaro) and it holds. sometimes when shifting into first really quick he'll bap it pretty hard with his hand and it's still up. good idea on location too, when you go to sell the car i doubt poeple will look for a hole there.

only thing is, the correct installation of a tach is somewhere where it can be in the line of vision with the christmas tree, for drag racing. but girls don't know that, so who cares? lol. plus there is no room up on the dash for it cause of the steep windshield.
