You should be able to get a top from just about any third-gen prior to 89. When I looked for a top for my 89 there was a difference in the latching mech on the top itself. You probably need the smaller post those are easier to find. I needed the one with a larger sleeve that slid over top of my post and was spring loaded.

Do you guys know if they made different size t-tops for pre 88 fbodys. I have a 91TA, my buddy has a 92, other buddy has a 88 and my dad has a 90, they are all the same. My other buddy has a 87 and he shattered one top all over the interior. We can't find a replacement cause nothin fits. His ttops are a good 2 inches shorter, front to back, than mine. Any ideas if his may have been aftermarket, or if they are dofferent from the factory. Any ideas where to get these things? Junkyards aint workin out. Thanks!

i was reading about your ttop problems. i lost two of them on the freeway at different times and both times i got them at a good price from Brian at t-topsonline. their site is www.t-topsonline.com and they knew what they were talking about when it came to tops.

then start a new thread or write something about them in the aftermarket vendor review. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to help out.
