Painting wheels.

Hey I was thinking of painting the SS wheels that I got at a swap meet on my Formula. They are silver now and I was going to go white like the car. Opinions? Should I go white or is that too much white on a white car?

IMO, color matched wheels look like crap. Even on the old first gen camaros, I still think they look out of place. I would leave them silver, or maybe polish them.

I would say Silver, Polish or Black to Dark Gray.

all the ricers around here paint their rims to match. looks retarded. A good set of chrome rims like the ones on it now is all you need. But hey it's your car, do whatever you want. If people laugh flip em off and spin the tires.

I like the white SS with the white wheels also but I may be getting the chrome 17" version of these wheels in the spring so I might just wait to see if I get enough $ saved to do that! Thanks!

I'd paint'em too. too much light color go'in on there. A shade of grey/charcoal would look nice . My T/A is white W/ silver decals and I look forward to the day I find some nice charcoal rims.

I'll tell you what...that gold is no good, but how about that magnesium/pewter color that those rare C5 vettes have? That is an awesome color...

I think it could look incredible and it could look horrible, of course these are my opinions but im gonna post some pics.
First up, roh zs wheels painted graphite from the factory and they look awesome? You decide (I fell in love with this car when I first saw these pics)
(I had to reduce the quality and size of the picture to post, sorry.)

Here is a black car with black ZR1 rims (painted, not powder coated. The guy owns a paint and body shop so it's obviously professionally done. Still don't like it.)

Maybe its just the zr1 (which I am planning on getting and polishing) but there is a white iroc on the boards with zr1s body matched. He posted in the "top ten best cars" if you haven't seen his pics. Incredible car, just don't like the look of the body matched paint.
Its all personal opinion I'm just trying to help out with some pics
