You need a hole saw, NOT a drill "bit" , local harware store, tool store, etc. etc. I;d buy a 2" and ten file fit the 1/16, or if you are good with a drill get a 2 1/16" but be steady.........

I'd use a sheet metal hole cutter. A hole saw will work, but it tends to leave rough, melted hole edges on plastic because of the friction heat generated.

I bet an almighty dremel would work too. Trace the circle out, then take a plastic cutting bit (I'm sure they have one for it), and cut that puppy out.

Hole saw, little at a time so you dont heat the piece up a lot, high speed, tiny bit at a time, let it cool.

i went to the hardware store and bought a 2 5/8" hole saw for my gauges and just went slow on drilling out plastic and it came out a little rough but the bezel on the gauge is slightly larger so you'll never see the rough stuff anyways. Hope this helps.
