Well if you are brave you could always swap the camaro dash into your car to get rid of the circle deal.

As far as wiring goes, I ran the senders that came with the autometers for the oil pressure, water temp, seperate from the factory and the volts doesnt use one of course, fuel gauge uses stock sender, you'd have to use the cable speedo where i used the electronic due to my T56, and the tach uses the factory output.

Heres what I did. I am getting ready to make a carbon fiber gauge panel, instead of the steel, and a panel for the radio, and the 3 gauges above.

Autometer instructions indicate that you must take the signal for the electronic speedo directly from the VSS in the tailshaft and then send it into the ECM since their speedo contains a buffer. Did you bypass the OE buffer? Where did you install the oil and water senders to get their readings?

You only have to run through the buffer, or the ECM, if you keep those. Actually, you run straight from the VSS to the speedo, then out to the ECM if used. This is how I did mine, only I didn't have the buffer, or ECM in the car. I hooked the H2O sensor to the front of the intake, and the oil pressure, I ran a 2250psi rated line from the back of the block to the sending unit on the firewall. I then just ran the signal wire from the unit to the gauge. All the gauges are electronic.

Im going to take the VSS signal from the LT1 PCM in my car and see if it doesnt work right, I may be also calling them to figure out how many pulse per mile input its calibrated at factory and run the SGI-5 to calibrate it, because their method is to push the button and drive exactly 2 miles to calibrate it, and the accuracy is going to be based on how well you mark off 2 miles.

Water temp I just put the autometer sender in the drivers side block where the knock sensor is on the other side, since I have a kit to turn my fan on in the cylinder head and cant get the other plug out of the pass head.

Oil Temp - Just got a T fitting from ace hardware and put the oil pressure saftey switch on one side and sender on the other.

Panel was free, due to my father getting it for me. Getting it cut was the same deal. The gauges cost $684 for all of them. The wire I used, as well as all the connectors were free also. I got those from work.

no pics of mine yet... just ordered the last 2 guages and a pod for them... costs:
Autometer Ultra-lites:
Volt Meter: $35.X Summit
Fuel Level: $35.X Summit
Air/Fuel Guage: $45.X Murrays
Oil Pres / Water Temp / Boost from friend: $50.X
5" Tach: Traded 12" 2400 Stall Torque Converter for it
5" MPH Speedo: Havn't Bought it yet.. Roughly $200.X Summit... + Sender $80.X Summit
Camaro Guage Pod: $24.X Summit
Aluminum FacePlate to Hold guages: Dept. Of Transportation was throwing sheets away so... $free, Cut and Wire Brushed then Sprayed with Urethane to keep it from Tarnishing.
Trans Temp Guage: $17.X B&M Version Summit
Light Covers to make em all red: $5.X Summit

So as you can see I've pieced mine together over a period of 3-4 Months, finding stuff as I went. Its sickening how much these things can cost you, but everybody loves guages... *sigh they look soooo cool at night :-) even though you cant really read em through the red... heh
