Removing exterior trim...

I know this is probably one of the dumbest questions you guys answer, but I want to take off the exterior trim (i.e.: "firebird" "se") and I THINK that it will just come off if I pry it, BUT i dont want to break it when i find out there is a rivit or something holding it to the body. So how do you get these pieces off? Thanks.

There are no rivets or screws, just glue. Just take a knife and slice them off very carefully! But why do you want to remove them?

Best thing to use is a paint scraper--it's nice and wide--try not to press too hard -stay close to the emblem itself or you'll scratch the paint.

I've also heard of people using fishing line or dental floss.
