Knee bolster cushion
Knee bolster cushion
I remember a discussion a few weeks ago about a rare factory option--it was a padded knee bolster-I think it was for the Birds.
I was able to find one! Gotta get the specifics on it--what year it came from etc--but as soon as I get a pic of it I'll post it--unless someone else has a pic of one.
also--does anyone remember what year and model it was offered on? I'm going to try to fit it on my 4th gen center console.

If it was like the Camaros, the change was made with the 1990 model year when they changed the dash. Lon

The wood console cover is just a mockup to make a pattern so I can make a custom one out of plastic.

I was about to comment on that until I saw that you had said that :sillylol:
Thanks for posting. I may have to keep an eye out for these. On long journeys I sometimes start to get a discomfort if my leg is leaning against that point of the centre console for long periods of time.

yeah I was asking about it a few weeks ago..you're so damn lucky to find one!
I've only seen one on an 84 TA..i'd have to guess it was an 83-84 interior option. Not sure how it installs..wasn't there any hardware with it?
BTW..I'd be definitely interested in uying one if anybody has it!

I have one of those in my 1984 TA...they make
a long trip 100% better. I'd say find a way to
stick it on if you can. They're well worth it.:hail:
