okay i know its been covered in the past on how to wet sand a car. my question is that my car was repainted last yr this month to be exzact and i was told that if ur goin to wetsand the car now its goin to be hard as hell to do. and ive also been told u can do it at any time. well i hope i really hope next month around after skool starts even though ive already graduated but i know people at the tech skool i went to and the teacher. i m goin to see if he can wetsand and polish and put my SS stripes on the car. would it be hard for him to wetsand and polish my car now since the paint is sooo hard?

i dont think i would be that tough for him to wet sand. at the shop i work at, we normally sand everything within two days. sometimes a couple hours after painting, but it can be done at any time.

 

okay kool becuz i didnt want to hear "no u cant wetsand it after a yr or even months" becuz i would really be pissed.

From the pic its hard to tell how much orange peel u have, is it clear coated? You can wet sand 20 years later if ya wanna.
Ok if its clear coated where is the orange peel? if its in the base coat your f###ed if its in the clear coat thats OK so long as you have enough to play with! Just take it easy , sand, buff & polish but be carefull.

 

yea its clear coated with 4 layers i believe maybe a few more i think.
