I am going to change to carb with a "hi-rise intake". So I will need a different hood. Which one should I get so that I can keep the stripes on the camaro.

Check out the pic. You see the stripes dont just come straight down the hood, they have to curve around the hood blisters. Also the stripe is wider at the windshield than at the nose.

So what hood would work with the stripes.

If anyone is bored, feel free to do a photoshop job.

Turbo IROC hood w/stripes like that. Straight stripes i'd go with a 2-3" cowl hood.

 

Get the SS hood.. That would look the best I think..

if you are looking to keep your stripes the way they sit now...

the turbo hood matches perfectly to your stripes...i know lots of people on here dont like that hood but for your purpose i think it would work out the best...

I like the SS hood and the Ramair II hood.

Could anyone photoshop one to my car and maybe put the stipes on it.

None taken... I hate that hood, but it looked like the only good cowl type hood to go w/ those stripes. If it were me i'd go stripeless and go with the SS or 2-3" cowl hood.

 

Yeah, I dont like the turbo hood either. I may just have to run a primered hood or something. The SS might work.
