Yeah the brakets raise you up about an inch or so. I don't think its much of an issue anless your like 6'3++. I have heard of people mounting these seats on there stock tracks,so I guess that could be an option also.

Do you like the recline option better than the stationary styles?

Yes I like the recline option. My first car was a 70SS nova and I and a set of fixed back Momo's and they would get uncomfortable after a while of riding in them.

Surprisingly, i'd rather sit in my sparco than any other seat. Spent about 2-3 hours cruising woodward at the Dream Cruise this summer and didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I guess its really a matter of choice as to which is more comfortable. The one definite advantage fixed backs have is that they are much safer than a reclinable seat....whether or not you get in a big enough accident to have that play a role, i hope no one will have to find out.

So really the choice depends on you. Your body size, how often you actually use your back seat (mine has since been removed completely), etc. should help determine which seat to go with

Flo-Fit seats. $700 a pair, around 4 or 5 years ago. Very comfortable, very supportive.

There's a vendor always selling them on ebaymotors. Do a search and you'll find it. I've got a pair sitting in my living room and I love them. I'd like them better if I had them in my car though.

Probably not. The problem is, I like them too much. The GTA isn't a car that I'm keeping forever, so I hate to put the flo-fits into it. Of course, the chances of me having the money to get the flo fits recovered in an appropriate color/material within the next decade is probably pretty slim too.

I should just buy brackets and install them into the GTA and be done with it.

Jimbo,

Were your Flo fits like a tan color? I can't remeber for sure. Anyway have you got a price on getting them recovered, maybe to go into the Camaro. By the way Tom, those look good i your car. Thats the first time I think I have seen the inside of your car.
