no one on these boards has done and i highly doubt anybody would. be careful with this kind of topic though, its very sensitive, lots of mixed reactions about this, most of them not good so i'm IBTL

I have heard of such atrocities being commited before. And actually I've seen it done to a 1970's Volkswagen Beetle. So this is hardly original. But it is a rare occurance. I would never do this. It is a waste of a car that is designed for road performance. Not muddin'.

i saw one once at an ice drag. it was about 4 feet off of the ground and had 44 super swampers on it. the job was actually somewhat clean tho, it was a wierd mix of disturbed and awe.

I didn't bring my camera but I was just at the Rivercity Autofest in Evansville by My Classica Car Television. There was a row of DeLoreans that come every year. Well this time they had a new entry....

It was a DeLorean on a 79 Chevy Blazer frame....jacked up to high heaven. Talk about a head turner......

one reason why???

Hey guys...new to responding to comments in forum, but a long time reader. I know I might get killed for saying this, but oh well I'm new that is my excuse. I was actually thinking of doing this at one time. I have an 83 camaro that is just parts, pretty rusty and has no title or keys. I also have some 44" superswampers, and an old bronco frame with axles. Since I dont have a title it can not be licensed so why not do it. About all body panels are dinged up, and rusted and I only payed $150 for the whole car. This is just my thought as to why you would want to do this to a thirdgen???

I helped a buddy put an 84 camaro on to a 78 K10 4X4 frame that was shortened 29". It runs and drives good and gets alot of thumbs up signs from people passing by. I also get alot of " You Might Be A *******" sayings. The camaro was just about to be crushed.
It's a real blast to drive!
