anyone ever taken a third gen and gutted out inside of it- like the entire dash and passenger seats and all door guts and such and made it into a street toy ?

thinking i may just have to go that route with this 84 Z28, have to weld shut floor anyways and it needs wleding all around strut towers and lower front part of rear wheel wells anyways. car will never be a restoratioon candidate by any means so what the heck ? better than scrapping it isnt it ?
as long as the tub structurally stays together anyways(weld weld weld)..
figured could lose alot of weight this way and dont neeed HVAC system or door guts and door glasses and pass seats, etc and can leave T tops off too.. starter and ignition wiring simple and lights wiring not too hard cept for at column.
.. warmed over 350 with kit th350 and the 3.23 or 3.42 it has in it already... tarp it for winter and rain times.,
figuring out how in the heck to get true duals on one of these cars would be the hardest part really,,, maybe run pipes on top of floor boards and then out rear wall and point em down or out sides there ?
