Do a search, this has been asked many times before. But he is right, it isn't worth the work or money. Just buy a t-top car and save the hassle and cash.
I would trade my T Top camaro for a Hard top any day of the week. I hate T Tops with a passion I have had nothing but problems with them and i have done everything to fix leaks and eliminate squeeks. nothing works. maybe its just me.

hard top to a t-top
Why? Why? Why?
I agree with Boosted GTA on the process, but as bj350hp also has a strong point. Squeaks, rattles and leaks are all in your future. Not to mention a lot of body flex if you have any kind of horsepower under the hood. I would recommend sticking with the hardtop, but if you absolutely must convert you should definitely invest in a quality set of subframe connectors to help keep things in line.
Good luck!!

T Tops are a lot of fun. It depends on your plans for your car. If you are going for speed then T Tops are a hinderance and subframs connectors are a must as our cars get older. If you are going for style then buy a car with T Tops already. Just finding someone to make T Tops will be a hassele in itself. Why do that when Chevy made cars with T Tops. Good Luck
