how to change my turn signal?

i cant figure out why my turn signal wont work if you turn it to the right, so i have decided to just get a new signal lever and the little clicker thing inside. how do i change this?? is there ANY way i can do it without tearing apart my steering colum, iv tried taking this apart and it didnt work too well, i used a wheel puller and a spring compresser but after i got soo far into it i didnt know what to do or how to get it off.

nope, bulbs r good, it works a little, if you mess with the steering wheel, like tilting it up adn down it will come on and off, its not in the wiring in the front so it has to be in the colum, my colum is also loose so i will try to tighten it like it sais it the tech articles but i think its in the clicker thing inside the turn signal switch

sounds like maybe the one of the wires from the switch harness is broken...whether you try and fix your existing parts or replace the switch with a new one, you will have to dismantle the top end of the column, and yes its a pain in the a*s...try PM'ing Vader I know he has a scanned diagram of the column and all its parts.
