back seat loving!

I need to take out the back seats out of my GTA so I can remove the plastic wheel well covers on the inside.

any suggestions on how to get them out of there? fold them down and look for some screws or is it more complicated?

unbult the lower section and remove them the bolt for them is in the middle of each cushion the seat backs have nuts on the side just unsrew the if the seat is split it uses a rod in the middle that the seats will slide off of although it might take a little tugging like mine did

ok sounds good. gives me an idea at least.

I'll start unbolting ****

basically I need to get at the wells for a welding job. I won't be doing the welding that's for sure. I asked people here about this before and no one ever gave me a good answer.

I have some major holes straight through the body inside the wells. If I put my finger through the hole I can touch the inside cloth material and move the plastic piece on the inside of the car. it's totally farked up. I would have never bought the car If I just knew about those holes.

argh!

simon.

the interior pieces are easy to take out, just some screws, nuts, and bolts and some tugging!!

you should be able to peel the carpet away from the welding areas..
