switching seats power/non-power
My 86 IROC has power drivers seat and regular passenger seat.I can't stand power seats they always screw up on me.Can I put the non-power drivers seat in my 88 V6 into my drivers side on my IROC?Will they just bolt in or do I have to switch brakets and adjusters too? Thanks

I'm going to use the manuel drivers side seat from my V6 to the V8.I saw some sweet TA 4th Gen seats,so I might wait on them, since they are a direct bolt-on too. Thanks

The difference between the two seats is just the seat track. You can just unbolt the manual track off the other seat and bolt them on to the seat in the IROC.

Crusin,
The tracks should be the same.
84Z28,
The seats move on tracks that are boltedto the bottom of the seats with 4 bolts. If you remove the seat from the car and turn the seat over you should see the bolts. After you remove the 2 bolts you will then have to slide the track to get to the other bolts. I may sound alittle vague but once you have the seat removed and turned upside down you should see the bolts.

Umm Nate1...Not to poke fun...but I know what the seat look like. I've be working on cars in a porfessional manner for over 15 years now. I know exactly what is looks like and how to do it. You on the other hand must not. No offence, but why would he change the tracks if the seat are the same??? He wouldn't or shouldn't. That just make to much work. The seats are the same therefore just take the one out of the 86 and put it in the 88 that is all he needs to do. I am not trying to poke fun at you....but I know alot more then you must think. Sorry! I do like how suttle you are about telling me what's what...that was funny. Thanks I needed a good laugh.

so anyways, a couple days ago i bought my seats that i have been looking all over for. The ones with "Camaro" written on them. I found them inm a junk yard for 60 bucks. they are in great shape. they just had some snow on them. Im pretty sure they were out of an 86, and they should fit into my 84.. they look almost the same.
anyone want to buy some full back seats? 300 bucks canadian takes em. they are blue and in perfect condition.
