Wasn't that the SunCoast firebird? I don't have the mag in front of me but seem to remember that it was the name of the company but I'm probably wrong again, Dave.

Personally, I really like that front air dam...but, I know a lot of people are gonna say that it resembles that of a Fox body Mustang GT....esp. the fog lights.

I REALLY like the front end... What I find interesting is the ground FX look alot like a 91-92 Camaro...

I would say that you could make the front facia, and get yourself the GFX from a 91-92 Camaro, and have it look alot like that... then make yourself a targa top, and WHALA! you would have a suntour.

Targa Top: Imagine a T-top without the center bar, like the Vettes used in the 80's, used by Porsche, Ferrari, etc...

This topic & that picture both come up a lot on the boards. It is a pretty cool looking nose, but I think the bottom line is always that it's not available anywhere on the aftermarket, and I'm pretty sure nobody makes one like it.

Anyone also noticed the fender flares incorporated into the body? I think some aftermarket company should try to replicate this and sell it....

oh man...that's a REALLY nice car.

HamSpiced -- i think there there's one guy on this board that's either trying now or tried at some point in time to custom make a targa for his car....don't know his name though. someone else probably does.

the Fender flairs probably screw right to the fender where it folds under... the fronts could probably use the plastic pop rivets used by the inner fender, but the rears would definately need some holes drilled...

I think it would also look better with the ROH SZ's for rims...

Notice how the windshield wraps up and over the car. That's pret-ty cool. I think the whole car is well-done. Even the mirrors and wheels don't look too out of place.

I like everything about the car except that I prefer T-Tops to the sunroof. Other than that it's pretty sweet.

Yes, those are the "Export" mirrors that were used from the mid 80's thru the early 90's... They were also used on very few 87 GTA's

I love that front clip! I wish they made them, even though I can't afford one now, I'd love to buy one later when I replace my cracked clip.

Tis sad that they don't make it.6
