Cheapest place for NEW GM fender (91 TA)

I need a new drivers side front fender thanks to a hit-and-run I found a new GM fender from Next Generation Parts for 199.99, is there any where else that has them for less?? I would rather have a new fender but will sacrifice for a used/salvaged fender, but I definately want it to be a GM part. Oh, and this is going on a '91 Trans Am. Thanks for any help.

Joe.

from what i heard those aftermarket fenders dont line up to well and they cost an arm and leg. your best bet would be to get a used one from a junkyard. i know around here they are about 40 bucks. good luck

Parts for these cars have sky-rocketed. Due to the high cost of these Orginal GM parts, the value on the Third Generation F-Body is going to start going up very shortly.

To repair my 82 Bird from it first major acccident in 21 years, I paid over $1100 for a new orginal door. Its may understanding that Classic Industry is the only one who now have some of these parts. The new orginal right front fender cost $550.

So treat these babies with a little care guys, because keeping them is going to get very expensive.

Update, 12/24/2002,
The prices that I quoted also includes shipping!

I was quoted from a GM dealer for new right front for ~$440, and ~$130 for the cheapo (non GM). Looks like I might have to go used, man I hate the thought of that.

Hey Joe, check out http://www.autobodypartsonline.com

They claim to have one for $78. I've never personally done business with them, so I don't know how they are, but they certainly have good prices.

The part might be used, I can't tell. You'd have to call/email them and ask.
