custom aluminum gauge plate
For those of you who don't have a radio, I've had a plate machined at my dad's business to hold 3 gauges. Uses the factory screw holes and fits in great. Right now it's just been bead blasted but later on I'm going to get it black anodized. What do you think?
Yes I know I need 2 more gauges

Just some aluminum stock you can buy and it comes in just the right thickness
It was all programed on a computer and then the program was sent to a machine to make all the cuts
Slips right in place of the stock radio cage and bolts into place.

Make me a proper fitting plate for the 90-92 dash to fit the 3 3/8 speedo and tach and 4 2-1/16 gauges, like this, but with proper spacing

Hehehe too bad I don't have a 90-92 camaro
I plan on changing all the gauges out some day and when that happens, I'll make a plate up
82-89 though
I've got one extra of the gauge plates though sitting on the desk here...

i'm in the process of making one right now. I will get some pics up pretty soon when i get a hold of a digital camara again. I plan on a 3 3/8 inch 160 speedo, 2 5/8 water& oil, 2 1/16 fuel & volt, and a 5 inch tach under the dash vents(where it is now) or on the dash itself. Plus i should have a spot or two left in case i decide to add a vacuum guage or a fuel air guage.

I'm not sure when I'll be making the dash plate but it should be sometime in 2003 hehe... Really need to get going on this engine sitting in the garage then I'll spend money on a new gauge cluster.
