problems with speedometer
Hey guy's, a couple of weeks ago my speedometer stopped reading accurately. The needle usually bounces between 25 and 30 when I'm ding about 40 and when I am doing about 75, it stays between 15 and 20. The needle just moves up and down, why do you think its doing this and what can I do to fix it or try to fix it?
Thanks, Ted

I dunno what it would be for sure, but have you tried lubricating the speedo cable (it is cable driven, right? or electronic?) cuz thats usually the main problem.

I'm petty sure its electronic. My cars a 92 RS by the way. I checked under the cap because my boss said it might be loose where it connects, but it was tight. And its not aregular connecton, its one of those connections like a sensor. So I have no idea.
