Interior question

I just got an 87 GTA and i'm replacing the tan interior with gray from my trans am. I have a problem with the door panels though. There is no way i can switch them out. Is there any stain or dye i can use to change them to gray?

You can use vinyl / fabric dye, but it MUST be applied in alot of THIN coats to look / feel right.

Try SEM, talk your local interior shop, they'll know where to get it.

Also, are you getting rid of any parts? Tan interior stuff? I'm only like an hour from you, so let me know.

Thanks

Yeah, getting rid of anything? I'd be interested too.

I bet you could find some grey GTA panels and sell the Tan ones.

I just changed the color of my interior from gray to black today using a vinyl spray from Napa auto parts. The paint company was Seymore Martin I believe. It covered really well. Duplicolor has a vinyl/fabric spray which you can get at walmart.

IS it a T-top car? I need a headliner.....just a decent base to work from to make a new one if possible. Mine was long gone when I got the car.

An extra pair of sail panels to recover would be nice. Also, need the trim that goes on the hatch, and the screw and hardware that hold some of the back panels in.

Let me know what you have
I could drive up sometime and get 'em.

Thanks
Chris

ctandc, you can get the hatch hinge molding here http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/p...G&hid=G11AG390 The only bad thing is its paint to match, but if your lookin for a black one then your in luck
