whos got the heat working with 4th gen dash
I never use my vents for heat and the A/C is coming out soon so basically all I need is defroster and floor heat. For those who already have the 4th gen dash in, did you reuse the black plastic peice that butts up to the heater blower from the 3th gen car or not. I will attempt this tomorow with the 3rd gen one and see if it still blows heat to the windshield and floor through the 4th gen dash. Just want to get some input on what your guys did.

I do know that the 4th gen heater core is different from the 3rd gen, and so is the blower box. There is a member on this site by the name of Fatal88 who has put a 4th gen dash in along with the 4th gen heater core. You could maybe try private messaging him and asking for details. Hop this helps

Fatl88's setup is quite extreme. his fit together perfectlybecasue he welded in the firewall and the whoel front clip/enigne bay out of the 4th gen into the car so the 4th gen heater coer and everything lined right up. If you go 4th gen heater route you will need to cut a hole in your firewall..........
