Overhead console install

Hey everyone. I am removing an overhead console from a junk car and need to know how to wire it up, because the car that it is in has no power, engine, etc. So a diagram or installation instructions would be nice.

Thank You

Should you be unaware, there are differences between the t-top and the couple versions of the consoles. Do a search on my name and you'll find pictures.

I've modified a t-top version to fit a coupe, but the other way around wouldn't be [as easily] possible.

Hey, Jza,

I certainly don't doubt your word--other members also say they've modified the console to work. However, from comparing the two (note the link below), I'd say the simplest option is to look for a console appropriate to your car.

Of course. That's always the simplest option. For me at the time, it was the only one around and it was free. But in reality, it took me only about 15 minutes to clean it up, and 3 minutes to modify it.

But anyway, I only pointed that out to expand a person's options, in case they were in a similar situation. You're right of course, that it's easier to just get the right one.
