85-92 Iroc bumper on a 84 z28?

I ordered an 84 bumper from a website and they sent me a 85-92 bumper. Will this fit on a 84z28 front end w/o any modifications, such as changing the fenders? I know I will have to get a 85-90 grill, turn signals, and a front spoiler. But all I'm worried about is if it bolt on without modifying the front end. Do you think that the 85-90 spoiler would look funky compared to the 84z28's sideskirts because it sits lower? I hope someone can help, thanks.

Look at the thread on this board or the appearance board called "painted my car via inspiration from zephyr" or something to that effect. It has pics of just that.

When I had my 84......I cloned the whole car to a 1992 Z28. So....I added the 1985-1992 Nose. You won't have to change your fenders or anything...but....underneath the nose.....there is the "impact plastic" underneath the nose. In order for the 1985-1992 nose to fit....you will have to shave quit a bit of that down in order it to fit properly....I used a a "sawsall" when I shaved mine down.....and it came out great.

Dont you have to drill the 3 holes in the bottom of the fenders for the spoiler? The 84 didnt have the holes in the same spot did they?

Are you talking about the 1985-1990 Iroc-Z/Z28/RS ground effects so....then can bolt on the sides of the fenders? Yes....like 3 holes or something....and on the 1991-1992 Z28/RS ground effects....like a "slit" would have to be cut.....cause they are mounted to the sides differently....

Ok thats what I thought. Did the 82 to 84 have any bolt holes for the lower spoiler?

Yeah, I think they only have 1 or 2 holes on the side of the fenders for the front ground effects to attach

I just put a 91-92 bumber cover and quarter panel ground effects on my 86 z 28. The holes for the gfx do not line up there are two with bolts on the outside and one screw on the inner lip of the fender. easy job, big difference in looks
