I need help aligning my dash after a heater core installation...I can't seem to get the dash lowered to attach the center bar....I also have the center area for the console area sitting on top of the metal lower bar....Is this correct?.....The heater core project has taken weeks of my spare time...I wish I had taken some pics as I was disassembling the car....any advice or pics would be greatly appreciated....:Thanks...Eric

 

Welcome to the boards Eric. Wow a few weeks to do a heater core, took me 30 minutes on my 91z28. thats ok though we all have to start somewhere. I didnt have to remove the dash either. Just got at it from below. Now as far as your dash goes, what exactly did you remove, the whole dash? what do you mean center bar? There should be a metal frame that the plastic part of the dash is bolted too. Keep all that together. Let me know what you removed and if you lowered your seering column and I will help you from there
