Custom Dash

Tell me what you think. I had a digital dash and i didn't like it so i cut it up (i have 3 complete digital dashes) and made this dash. Tell me what you think. I will get more pics. I left the right side of the dash where the trip computer used to be empty cause i plan on mounting a tv in there.

i was hoping to get maybe a 5-6 inch tv. I wish i could fit bigger but the opening isn't that big. I could get a 5.6 inch for like $100 and havent really seen any 6 inch tvs. so figure about 5.6inch Tv. see the pic

sounds great, But i would be worried having that montier just sitting there waiting to be stolen, unless it is just a show car.

I'm just paranoid about thise things.

I was thinkin gof making a custom sliding door that will open in front of the tv and lock closed when the car is off...just an idea for now but i totally i agree i shouldn't leave it wide open in plain view

You could do a slide down door, flip up, or a bi-fold open door.

Looks good!! I did something similar with my 82 dash. If you make the holes a little bigger you can squeeze two 5 inch gages(Tach+Speedo) and two 2 1/16 gages (gas+water temp) and a shift lite in the middle. I am sure I'm not the inventor of this mod but it does look almost factory and I'm sure instead of the shift lite I could have squeeze another gage in the top hole
