I don't understand what the purpose of headlight covers on a Trans Am are for. The car has hidden headlights! Can you explain why you want these?

It makes the front look more aerodynamic and covers up the turn signals. At night I don't think the car looks as mean. But during the daylight on a car with the right paint job it looks good. Heres a pic as an example of what it should look like.

Personally I would paint the covers to match the body. That would give the nose a solid look. More fluid design. Like the 1991 & 1992 cars have. In most states though you would have to relocate your turn signals.

And here is an idea for Texas law anyway. Turn signals can be clear in the front of the car only. You could wire up the stock fog lights as turn signals if you wanted to. Or since this stuff isn't enforced around here you could simply just keep the painted cover on there most of the time and remove it when you get the car inspected. Paint them to match the nose but don't paint them while on the car so they are removable.

Re: GTS Firebird headlight covers

I know this is an old thread, but I would like to get a set of these for m car. I tried the link posted above, but it doesn't work any longer. I've been searching for a set on the internet with no luck. Does anyone who has them have a part number or let me know where to get a set? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
