What amp. & Gauge wire did you use?

I putting in a Megashifter and want to know what amp&gauge wire did you guys with a megashifter use to wire up the reverse/nuetural and radio shack relays...it doesnt say in the instructions and I cant find it when I do a search?

Did you guys have to slide the shifter all the way back on the mounting bolts for it to fit right in the console with the plate on?...

thanks guys..

I believe I used 18 or 20 gauge wire. It doesn't need to be as thick as the yellow or purple wires from the original P/N switch. Try to use heat shrink instead of electrical tape; tape will unfold when your console cooks in the hot sun.

It does say in the instructions. Look at the diagram and you'll see a little 18 or 10 next to the wires.
