Paper type for guages

What is the best paper type (glossy or semi-gloss) for using the scanner to make white faced guages? Thanks in advance.

depends on the look that you want. I would go with semi just casue glossy would give you a glare...

photo glossy paper with a nice printer will make them look real good. I had a lexmark Z33 (2400x1200 dpi) and I thought that looked good unitl I got my canon i850 (4800x1200, plus it uses double dot spray insted of one). I also paid alot more for the canon, but you get what you pay for.

I have never removed my guages from the dash. Can you tell me step by step what is involved?

first remove the torx screws holding the black trim peice.then remove the small silver screws that hold the lens & cluster + the two nuts in the bottom of the cluster(in the lamp pockets).after that disconnect the speedo.you can reach the cable by removing the underdash cover.you have to wiggle your arm up there to reach.flipping the fuse box down might help to see better.ONLY the speedo is held to cluster with 2 screws in the back.the rest of the gauges can be removed from the front b4 removing cluster.theyre held on by the same type of silver screws that hold lens/cluster on.good luck

Mine may be a little bit different because my fuse box is on your drivers wheel side. My steering wheel is on the right side because of the conversion to right-hand drive. May be a little more room in there to get to the speedo. Thanks for the info.
